Spring Friend Day

Each year on the last Sunday of March, Victory Baptist Church hosts our "Spring Friend Day." On this day we make a special effort to encourage our friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to be in church with us, especially those who do not regularly attend a church. It is our desire that we would be able to reach some of them with the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fall Friend Day

Also on the last Sunday in October we host a fall friend day that we call "Bringing in the Harvest Day." This is a day that we celebrate the coming of fall and the end of the harvest time in our area with our annual Chili Cook-Off and Pie Making contests as well as fun & games that include corn stalk javelin, hay bail tossing and on occasion turkey bowling. But we also desire to see a spiritual harvest as well. Again, as in spring, we desire to see our lost loved ones with us on this day . Jesus said, "the harvest truly is plenteous… (Matt. 9:36)" It is our hope that folks will not only have fun but see their need for a Savior.
